FAQs
What types of yoga classes do you offer?
I offer a variety of classes to suit different needs and stages of life, including Hatha Flow for mindful movement and breathwork, Pregnancy Yoga tailored for expectant mothers, Adult & Baby Yoga for bonding and gentle postnatal movement, and Outdoor Yoga to enjoy practising in nature. I am also training in yoga for children and teens and will be able to offer these classes soon.
What should you bring to class?
I will always bring enough yoga mats for everyone so there’s no need to bring your own, unless you’d prefer to in which case that’s absolutely fine. I always clean my mats down after every class and wash any other equipment we use such as eye pillows. For outdoor yoga, depending on the season, you may like to bring a blanket and some socks for our relaxation at the end - but it’s entirely optional. Feel free to bring anything else you’d like to for our yoga classes. For baby classes, please bring anything your little one needs to feel comfortable including any blankets or toys.
Do you need prior yoga experience?
Not at all! Whether you’re new to yoga or have practised before, I welcome everyone. I aim to give lots of options in my classes - encouraging you to find the ones that feel right for you. No poses are better than others, there’s no competition and there’s no praise for being able to do “complex” yoga poses. It’s all yoga.
I have an injury or health condition - can I do your yoga classes?
It depends what it is - please let me know with as much notice as possible before the class of any injuries or health conditions that you have that may impact your yoga practice. Whilst I am trained to make adaptations for many things, I am also not a medically trained health professional, and so a full conversation is helpful before you try a class.
Are men welcome in the classes?
Definitely! Yoga is for everyone, and I’m happy to welcome all genders to join in.
How do you book a class?
You can book through my website on the booking page or drop me a note on social media. I recommend booking ahead to guarantee your place.
Where do I hold my classes?
My regular classes take place in Malmesbury and surrounding South Cotswolds areas. I’m also happy to travel up to 1 hour for private group sessions.
Can pregnant or postnatal mums join?
Absolutely! I offer specialised classes designed to support both during pregnancy and the postnatal period. I recommend that you start pregnancy yoga after the first trimester and postnatal yoga with me after at least 8 weeks.
Do I offer private sessions or group events?
Yes! I’m available for private sessions, small groups, and special events like hen parties, wellness days, or corporate wellbeing. Just get in touch and we’ll chat about what you need.
What if it rains during outdoor yoga?
We have shelter if we need it and classes go ahead in all weather, all seasons.
